How to measure yourself for your new Walter Klassen Harness
You can either measure youreslf using our online instructions or by downloading a hardcopy of the form from the top right of this page.
To measure yourself accurately, you will need two carpenter's squares (right angled rulers).
We need to know the dimensions of the "box" that is created by making a rectangle at the top of your hip bone and another rectangle where your hips meet your legs. The easiest way to do this is to put the two carpenter's squares together to make a rectangle.
We also need to know your height, your weight and which side you operate on.
When entering measurements please enter your choice of Imperial or Metric.
To ensure the measurements you take are accurate: a) Take all of your measurements on with the rulers lightly touching bone. b) Make sure that you read the inside measurement of the rectangle. c) Make sure that the rectangle is 'square'. Ensure that the measurements are the same on both sides of your body.
Specific Measurement Instructions
Slide the ruler box so it is snug (not tight) against both leg/hip joints and also snugged up front to back.
Again, check the squareness of your rulers and take note of the distance from leg joint to leg joint (Side to Side) and your body's thickness (Front to Back)
