Side Step II

Walter Klassen's Side Step II adds at least 19" of travel to your existing camera head, giving you a time-saving solution for small camera moves. Its one piece anodized aluminum body and durable, quiet bearings ensures smooth carriage for the heaviest rigs in the most demanding conditions.

Using either Mitchel plates or European couplers the Side Step II can be oriented horizontally, upside down, or sideways giving you a large range of mounting options.

Walter Klassen's Side Step II features

  • A tension control knob, a brake lever and hydraulic stops at each end to give you the control you need..
  • 24" (61 cm) overall length provides 19" (48.25 cm) of travel. It is also available in 32", 40", and 48" lengths (81.3/101.5/122 cm) -travel length increases in 8" (20.3 cm) increments)
  • Extremely strong and resiliant case hardened stainless steel bearing ensure a smooth, controlled and quiet ride even in harsh conditions.
  • Extremely durable flat rails contribute to the quiet smooth ride.
  • Accurate allignment of the rails is ensured by machinining the body out of one solid piece of aluminum.
  • Working load is 3200 lbs.(1451 kg) - that's enough for a small car!!
