Walter Klassen FX -- Back mounted steadicam harnesses

The back mounted steadicam harness has been accepted as a ergonomically superior type of harness as compared to the traditional front-mounted vests. By transferring the working load to the operator's hips, the back mounted design greatly reduces the strain on your back that front mounted vests are known for.

At Walter Klassen FX, we take great pride in the workmanship and care that goes into every harness. The fact that our harnesses are often described as the 'Ferrari' of the harness world reflects this care.

Each harness is custom made by the craftsmen (and women) in our shop based on your measurements to ensure the best possible fit. Your harness has a custom leather plate with your name and harness number stamped into it.

Our harness features a hand molded carbon fiber shell and ultra lightweight carbon fiber arm with end block tilt control. Our harness padding uses air bladders, in addition to high density foam to help you adjust your harness for maximum comfort and support. Every harness also features two handles on the back, placed where you can be guided without any additional stresses being placed on your body.

At Walter Klassen FX we are always trying to improve the design of our harness in order to meet the needs of our customers better. Operator feedback has helps us constantly refine the harness, helping us to make you more comfortable. Operators have attributed lower chiropractic bills and increased career longevity to our harnesses.
