Upgrade your harness

Curved carbon front
Interested in upgrading your harness with a new curved carbon front? Launched in June 2004 this new front door option follows the contours of your body in order to spread the load of your rig evenly across your stomach. This curved carbon front means an increased surface area for optimal fit on your body. Finally, we've added contoured cutouts at the top of the leg to reduce pressure on your thigh and offer increased mobility. As much as people enjoy their older harnesses many operators find that adding the features of the curved carbon front makes their harness even more comfortable.

The curved carbon front upgrade is US$ 1200 and includes the curved carbon front door, front pads and liners and your choice of closure. We are currently offering three closure options for the curved carbon front:

  • Double ratchet closure - double ratcheting straps on both sides of the curved carbon front gives you nearly infinite variations in harness fit. The curved carbon front and harness shell can be nested to make a more compact package when traveling.
  • Metal hinge - provides the greatest stability of all our closures; the hinge has a removable pin, so the harness can be taken apart and packed with the curved carbon front nested into the harness shell making a smaller package to transport.

Biased Cross-over blocks
This simple US$ 60 upgrade will help you balance in the middle of your range if your existing carbon arm is 'ambidextrous'. By biasing the crossover 4 degrees the end block of your carbon arm will be angled out by 4 degrees pushing the likely balance point of the arm pin closer to the middle of the adjustment range.

To install, simply remove your carbon arm and replace your unbiased crossover block with the new biased block. You don't need to lose any time with your harness! Of course you can always use the unbiased block for those times when you need to extend your range a little.

To ensure correct biasing when ordering, please specify which side you wear your carbon arm on.
